United Way of Greater Chattanooga offers its deepest sympathy to our neighbors affected by the tornadoes that caused wide-spread destruction across our region on April 27. In the wake of this natural disaster, United Way is working to engage in long-term recovery efforts to ensure a bright future for affected communities.

United Way is working with private, public, faith-based and community partners to assess the long-term recovery needs of the community. Additionally, United Way is assisting response agencies in the provision of food, shelter, emergency health and transportation for those affected by the tornadoes.

You can see a continually updated list of volunteer needs, donation needs, and available disaster services athttp://www.liveunitedchattanooga.org/www/docs/13.3120/2-1-1-disaster-services-update.html
