Join the Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga (YPAC) at Greenway Farms on July 16, 2011, for a day filled with fun as YPAC raises funds for United Way of Greater Chattanooga. Teams of co-workers and friends can compete to earn the coveted YPAC Kickball Trophy, all while raising money to help support the United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
Same day registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on July 16. Game play begins at 11 a.m. The final game of the day should begin by 7:30 p.m. and is expected to end by 9 p.m.
To play, a team must consist of at least 8 members, but no more than 15. Team captains should fill out registration forms; all team participants must fill out a release form at the event in addition to all other forms.
Registration is $250 per team. If more than ¾ of your team is comprised of YPAC members, then your rate is $175. Sixteen team slots are available, and teams will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. You can go to the YPAC site at www.ypchattanooga.org to register a team online.
Teams will compete in a series of brackets, and the championship game will be played at 7:30 p.m. All players will receive an event t-shirt and will be provided with soft drinks courtesy of Coca-Cola.
“If someone can’t play or doesn’t want to be on a team, people can still show their support by coming out to watch the teams compete,” said Ryan Fugate, Associate Campaign Director at United Way of Greater Chattanooga and YPAC Community Service co-chair. “Greenway Farms is a great place for a family outing. We’ll have food and drink vendors available to the public and there will be other
activities for spectators to enjoy.”
All forms should be sent to YPAC, PO Box 11451, Chattanooga, TN 37403. Payment can be made via check or money order made payable to YPAC. If you need more information, call Ryan Fugate at 423-752-0314, or email Hassan Najjar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
