We're Stuffing the Bus for education, because students' supply needs don't end when school begins. Lists for needed supplies by grade level can be found at http://www.hcde.org/hamilton-county-schools/dress-code-supply-lists

To date, our second annual STUFF THE BUS school supply drive has collected approximately $7,000 in school supplies for students in area public schools. Please help us try to raise at least another $3,000 in supplies by the end of October.

If you would like to hold a drive at your place of work, please go online at www.LiveUnitedChattanooga.org to download posters, supply lists and other templates to help organize a drive.

Here are the NEW collection dates for October:

  • Oct. 9, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Girl Scouting Day at the Chattanooga Market, First TN Pavilion
  • Oct. 11, 11:30 a.m. at the ITT Technical Inst. - Free Social Media Workshop on Facebook guidelines
  • Oct. 14, 11:30 a.m. at Blood Assurance - Free Social Media Workshop on Social Media terminology

You may also donate dollars to United Way to purchase school supplies. Any amount is welcome.

Supplies will be distributed to area public schools that have a high number of students considered at risk. For more information, go to www.LiveUnitedChattanooga.org, call 423-752-0300, or email communityrelations@uwchatt.org.
