United Way’s Volunteer Center is accepting nominations until February 27 for the annual Volunteer of the Year Awards to be presented on April 17 at the Volunteer United Banquet. All volunteers from across the region and from any nonprofit organization are eligible for nomination.
Each year, local companies committed to community service and nonprofit organizations from across the area join together at this annual recognition event to celebrate volunteerism and to honor local volunteer heroes for their efforts.
