Jean Butzen presents "From MOUs to Mergers and Everything in Between"

Join us as Jean Butzen, President of Mission Plus Strategy Consulting, speaks on the hot topic of creative/strategic partnerships.  This workshop will be held on Friday, June 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the United Way offices at 630 Market Street. The cost is $75 for CNP members and $110 for non-members.

Imagine the possibilities . . . Theres more to collaborations than mergers!

Not a day goes by when we, as nonprofits, are not pushed to partner more and duplicate less, especially in light of increased funding cuts. Yet, many of us are unfamiliar with all of the collaborative possibilities that exist. Join us as Jean Butzen, consultant and former executive director, explores a variety of options for creative partnerships and acquaints us with non-traditional models from around the country.

Ms. Butzen spoke on this topic at last year's BoardSource conference, so if you missed her presentation there or would just like a review, you'll have a chance to hear her right here in Chattanooga.

At this workshop, you
ll learn:

  • How to determine when to seek out partnership opportunities
  • What models are best for your organization
  • How to structure partnerships that meet the needs of all the organizations involved
  • How to maximize what each organization brings to the table without loss of identity
