COURAGE AWARD INVITATION
Nominate your client for the Courage Award today

Dear Agency Partners,

The Alexis de Tocqueville Society established the Courage award to honor an exceptional individual who has received services from one of United Way's agency partners.

The purpose of this award is to publicly highlight a deserving individual who is a shining example of the outstanding work in human services supported by the United Way, as well as an example of perseverance in the face of adversity.

As director of the Tocqueville Society, I invite you to submit the name of a client who, while receiving services from your organization, exhibited outstanding strength and courage in the face of his or her challenges.

The attached information includes a criteria sheet and an application form, which must be received in the United Way offices no later than noon on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
