Resources to help you become better-informed

If you're a parent, you're going to need help, advice, answers and assurance!  United Way's Project Ready for School offers free parenting classes to help!

Parenting in the 21st Century is a free class meeting every Monday (except Holidays) from 10:00 to noon at the Parents’ Place, 2300 McCallie Ave.  The curriculum, Active Parenting Now, consist of six sessions and covers these topics: styles of parenting, winning cooperation, discipline, redirecting misbehavior, building character, family meetings and parent child relationships.  Call Wanda Judd, 423-697-3824 for more information or to enroll.
