How to raise charitable children (and grandchildren)?
TEACH THEM THE JOYS OF GIVING!

In the United States, volunteers help their communities in many ways. They donate money, feed the poor, build homes for the homeless, and much more. No matter what they do, volunteers say giving is rewarding. That’s why author Carol Weisman urges parents to help their children experience the joy of giving.

You are invited to a special presentation by Carol Weisman, an internationally known speaker, author, trainer, consultant and the pr esident of Board Builders.

The presentation will be held at the CSAS Auditorium on Thursday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m.

During her career, Carol has worked with a variety of organizations all across the world including Boys and Girls Clubs of America, American Lung Association, National Kidney Foundation, Australian Day Care Association, Special Olympics International, Board Source, Points of Light Foundation, PBS/NPR, The Council for Environmental Education and many others.

She has served on 30 boards and served as president of 7. She is an accomplished author of several books including Secrets of Successful Fundraising, Build a Better Board in 30 Days and Raising Charitable Children, which is currently in its third printing. She has also been recognized by The New York Times, Parade Magazine, and Scholastic Parent and Child, in addition to winning a Telly Award for a PBS special titled, “Building a Board with a Passion for Mission."
