United Way of Greater Chattanooga’s
Volunteer Center can offer your company customized volunteer opportunities that
meet the needs and aspirations of your company and your employees.
Whether you need a one-time
opportunity or would like to build an annual program, your company can access
a world of meaningful opportunities to have a real hands-on impact in your
community and further strengthen your position as an active community-minded
corporation involved in advancing the common good.
Our Services
The Volunteer Center can offer you
any or all of these services to help amplify your company’s community involvement:
Administer employee surveys to help you select volunteer
opportunities that match their interests and further your community goals
Match your corporate or employee interests with community
needs
Organize volunteer activities, including setting dates,
coordinating equipment and materials, generating publicity, creating fliers,
taking pictures for your corporate use, etc.
Provide feedback and data on your volunteer program,
including itemizing the financial value of the hours you donate to the
community. This information is recorded and can be accessed through our
community volunteer database.
Your Company Investment
You can access our turnkey volunteer
coordination services for an annual investment of $400.
This fee includes membership in the
Corporate Volunteer Council, an advisory council to United Way’s Volunteer
Center, which is responsible for organizing community-wide volunteer
recognition events. The CVC meets monthly at the United Way offices.
