OUR WORK SUPPORTING THE MOST VULNERABLE
We all win when people get the help they need.

We address the pressing needs and concerns facing our neighbors throughout our community.  We’re building coalitions and working with our partners to target issues such as elder care, care for children and adults with severe physical or developmental disabilities, mental health care, substance abuse, family violence, oral health, food deficits and other emergency needs or concerns as they are brought to light in our community.

Digging deeper to solve problems

An emergency or catastrophic need impacts every aspect of a person’s daily life. A child with a toothache is unable to concentrate in school and succeed. A family with a catastrophic health emergency can be financially overwhelmed to the point of bankruptcy. Seniors need to live healthy lives, aging safely in their homes with access to the transportation and perscriptions they need.

Whether it is a neighbor who suffers a disabling accident, a victim of abuse, or someone struggling with mental illness or an addiction, we work to ensure everyone has their basic needs fulfilled so they can lead safe, healthy, and rewarding lives.

We support local health and human service programs and we partner with local advocates, faith leaders, healthcare professionals, the business community, and policy makers to create sustainable solutions.

Join United Way and make your community stronger by ensuring our most vulnerable neighbors have what they need to stay healthy and thrive. We can make a difference and the time is now.
