Take 10 minutes to give your child a Learning Checkup
Is your child ready for school? United Way of Greater Chattanooga wants to help you ensure your child is ready for success in school, and life! That's why we offer FREE Learning Checkups to any child under five years of age, so parents can have confidence that their child's learning skills are developing on-track, or get assistance, if needed.
Project Ready for School's Learning Checkup is designed to help you determine where your child is developmentally at different stages of the first five years of their life. Children who start kindergarten with appropriately developed learning skills are more likely to be successful in school and graduate.
It only takes about 10 minutes to complete, and United Way will send you a FREE family pass to the Creative Discovery Museum for completing it.

What do Parents have to say?
“From the day my daughter was born, I knew her development was critical and I knew I was responsible for it! Learning Checkups were so great because it let me know that I was doing the right things to help my daughter’s early development. It gave me and my wife confidence that we had our child on the right track.” Father of Regina, age 3
“I was glad I did a Learning Checkup for my son. We were referred for assessment that identified a speech delay that I didn’t know he had. He’s now getting speech therapy and making great progress!” Mother of Justin, age 2
